How To Exercise Properly For Fat Loss

How To Exercise Properly For Fat Loss

When trying to shed fat, there are two things you need to do:

Eat the right things

Exercise correctly

In this article, Beast Gear is going to focus on the latter. Let’s take a look together at what you need to do in terms of your workout in order to lose more fat.

Take More Walks

If you’re the type of person who prefers to jump in the car even for brief trips to Tesco to pick up a pint of milk, it’s time to ditch the motor and put your best walking shoes on.

According to a study carried out by Harvard Health, just a 30 minute “moderate” walk can help the averaged 155-pound individual burn as many as 167 calories.

Jog

What’s even better than walking?

Jogging.

Jogging is more taxing on the body, and you will definitely feel the burn the first time you do it. But if you want to burn more calories and shed more poundage, you’ll need to put your jogging gear on.

In fact, whilst it would take around 125 minutes of walking to burn as many as 450 calories, just 50 minutes of jogging will suffice to burn the same amount of calories. Thus, jogging saves you time.

Cycle

What’s better than walking and more fun than jogging?

Cycling.

If you’ve got a good bike, climbing aboard and hitting the tarmac with your wheels more often can help you burn those 450 calories in 69 minutes.

Sure, that’s longer than a jog. But cycling is a lot of fun and it also benefits other areas of your body. For example, cycling has been linked to a reduced risk of heart disease

Not feeling the idea of cycling outdoors (especially during colder, wetter seasons)? No problem - you can jump on a stationary bike at your local gym.

Youare a member of a gym, right?

Lift Weights

What’s better than walking, more fun…

Okay, I’ll stop.

But seriously, lifting weights is an excellent exercise that will help you burn calories while also turning you into a beast.

Harvard Health ran a study on this and found that a 155-pound individual can burn as many as 112 calories during a half-hour session of weight training. That’s not bad at all and shows you what you can achieve if you push your body harder and do a wholehour of training.

Lifting weights can be done at home, or it can be done in the gym. It comes with other benefits, too, including muscle growth.

Go Swimming

Swimming is a simple workout that can be done on the cheap.

It’s also a massively effective exercise that can burn up to 600 calories an hour.

It’s also even more fun than cycling, especially if you take an inflatable dolphin along with you.

Just me?

Final Word

These are some exercises you should definitely try to help you lose weight. However, it’s really important that you also adopt a healthy, balanced diet that’s crammed with nutritious goodness. Otherwise, it won’t matter how much you exercise.
