I get it. It’s 2020 and many of us live busy lives with lots of responsibilities. We work lots of hours, we have a family to look after, friends to see, paperwork to do … In fact, we’ve got so much to do that it can be really tricky to fit in the stuff that optimises our health and ensures we’re able to keep doing so much. \nIn other words, how on earth do we exercise every day? \nIt’s actually a lot easier than you might think and requires just a few shifts in your habits. Join Beast Gear as I take a look at how to fit exercise into your daily routine. \nGet Out Of Bed 20 Minutes Earlier \nI know what you’re thinking: The last thing you want to do is shave a bit of time off your already miserly morning ‘lie-in’. Before a hectic day starts, do you really want to bring the noise even earlier than usual? \n\nHonestly, once you start getting up just 20 minutes earlier than you usually do, you’ll soon get used to it. \nIn fact, you’ll quickly forget that you used to get up ‘so late.’ \nGetting up a bit earlier gives you more time to have a quick workout before breakfast and shower and drink lots of fresh lemon water. \nDo Some Push Ups While The Kettle Boils \nThis is a really cool hack. And think about it: When you first boil the kettle in the morning, how long does it take to boil? It takes forever!\n\nInstead of spending those 3-4 minutes rubbing your eyes and petting the dog, use them to do some push ups on the kitchen floor. \nTake The Stairs \nThis is a simple tip that’s been recommended before - but it really works. If you still take the elevator all the time, try taking the stairs now and then. It’s a great way to get a bit of exercise in. \n\nMake Sure To Move Every 30 Minutes \nIf you’re the type of person who literally spends 4 hours at a time chained to your desk at work, you don’t need me to tell you that this sort of thing is really healthy.\n\nIn future, why not take a quick break every 30 minutes? Use those 30 minutes to get up and move around. You could go for a quick jog around the building, or you could just do a few squat jumps by your desk. \nPeople might think you’re crazy but, hey, you’re on a mission here. \nWalk To The Park At Lunchtime \nIf there’s a park near your office, head over there at lunch. Don’t spend it at your desk. Instead, get outside, walk and maybe do a quick workout in the park. \n\nPlay Sports With Your Kids \nA lot of mums and dads say the main reason they can’t workout more is because they have kids and simply don’t have the time. \n\nWell, why not kill two birds with one stone by playing some sports with your kids? \nIf you’re rubbish at sports, it doesn’t matter. You could just go running with them, or you could even play a fun game of tag in the park. Or how about you all head to the beach and play frisbee? \nTake an Evening Walk \nLastly, before you go to bed at night, how about spending some time unwinding on an evening walk with your partner? This way, you get to spend time with your loved one and you get to squeeze in a bit more exercise? \n\nAnd honestly, walking under the moonlight, hand-in-hand with your partner is the best form of exercise ever.
